Closing out an extremely productive and critically acclaimed year of releases (Path Of An Empath, Jewels From The Sun), Sweatson Klank returns with his final offering of 2021. "The Off Switch" EP is inspired by places & spaces where nature and architecture work together synonymously in harmony and the effect that it has on the human psyche.

Opening track and single "Closer To The Essence" is a deep jazz head nodder woven with trumpets, flutes and the producer adding a touch of his own voice in the form of vocal scats. The vibe is hopeful and exploratory, the feeling you get when traveling & discovering a new city or country. "Mista Linen" picks up the tempo a bit with a heavy funk jazz and hip hop groove. A dusty grand piano lays the foundation for saxophones, strings and flutes to flourish over a track that sounds right out of the 1970's. "Cloudless" packs an ethereal punch led by a funky bassline. Spacey Fender Rhodes pianos and vintage synths trade off leads effortlessly over a dreamy backdrop. "Mazuku" is a laid back Lo Fi number that sounds right out of a soundtrack to an old Italian film set in a distant future. Cinematic strings, vintage pianos, guitars and horns all dance around a heavy drum line. "Dreaming Again" closes out the record with an imaginary walk through the cherry blossom covered grounds of Kyoto's ancient Japanese temples. Slow trombones and electronic pianos pave the way for walking off into the sunset.
